Villa di Castello near Florence

Villa di Castello garden has a simple structure with symmetric rectangular flower beds. 


Behind the place where photographer stands in this picture, the garden continues to bosco. 
The garden also contains a basin with the sculpture of January (Ianuarius) made by Bartolomeo Ammanati.

The garden as it looks today was made by Caponi family in 18th centure.


The most famous part of Gamberaia garden are water basins ending in a green wall with a window. The views over Tuscany get even more charming when there is only a certain point from which you can see it.
